Three Michigan Marijuana Podcasts receive national recognition
The Michigan Marijuana Report shares news that three Michigan-based, cannabis-themed podcasts have been included in a list of the best industry podcasts from 2020:
Industry news source CelebStoner recognized the shows in an article published in early January of 2021. The listing included several dozen shows of note from the past year; there are hundreds and hundreds of podcasts about cannabis, or potcasts, being broadcast every week in the USA.
The three shows are:
- Jazz Cabbage Café – hosted by Jamie Lowell and Rick Thompson, the broadcast features news, humor and culture discussions focused on Michigan’s cannabis community.
- Smokin’ Rope Podcast – hosted by Ryan Basore, Tom Beller and Kevin Pybus, the MMFLA/MRTMA-centric broadcast offers an insight into the workings of Michigan’s cannabis business industry.
- Benzinga Cannabis Hour – hosted by Elliot Lane and Javier Haase, this broadcast is focused on the national/international business of cannabis, including the stock market, mergers and acquisitions, and IPO news.
“This is very exciting,” said Lowell. “It’s good to have your work recognized for excellence.”
All three broadcasts take place remotely, with each participant streaming from the safety of their individual homes or businesses. Benzinga and Jazz Cabbage Café are Detroit-based shows. Smokin’ Rope is based out of Lansing.
