Scout Cannabis bringing the Ukrainian Diesel

When processed by Bangor-based Scout Cannabis earlier this winter, the Russian Diesel strain held great promise. Now with the dark cloud of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine hanging over the world, it’s definitely not a selling point.

Renamed “Ukrainian Diesel”, the cartridges will be sold under Scout’s “Oops” brand at The WellFlower in Manistee and Pharmhouse Wellness in Grand Rapids. For every Ukrainian Diesel cart sold, Scout will donate $1 to Direct Relief, an international organization that is providing emergency medical supplies to equip field medics in Ukraine.

Dr. Rob McCurren is an ER physician and co-owner of The WellFlower Group. He knows something about having the right equipment to help in an emergency and says “The packs that Direct Relief is providing to the field medics in Ukraine will save lives and treat injuries that normally are fatal.”
