First Recreational Cannabis Dispensary Opens Today Ottawa
mLive reports that the first recreational marijuana store in Ottawa County has opened:
Exit 9 Provisionary, located 12261 Cleveland St. in Nunica, made the first sale of recreational marijuana in the county on Monday, Sept. 21. The dispensary, about 5 miles east of Grand Haven, has been open for medical marijuana sales for about a year.
“It’s exciting to be the first provisioning center to offer cannabis to adults 21 and older in Ottawa County. I’m a firm believer in people being able to buy quality, tested cannabis products where they live,” Greg Maki, CEO of Agri-Med, the company that owns Exit 9, said in a statement.
A grand opening celebration for the store is scheduled at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, until closing at 8 p.m. Gifts and special products will be available through Saturday.
…“We carry a wide range of products and brands from across Michigan,” Maki said. “We’ve been working with suppliers for months to stock flower, edibles and concentrates so customers have many options.”
