Can Cannabis Help Restore Bee Populations?

Collective Evolution reports that new research out of Cornell University that’s been published in Environmental Entomology, shows that humans aren’t the only fans of cannabis. The recent findings also compliment a study published last year at Colorado State University that discovered the same thing, that bees love cannabis.

2019 Geminid Meteor Shower peaks this weekend!

The annual Geminid meteor shower is expected to reach its peak this weekend – though under the glaring light of the almost-full waning gibbous moon. The peak morning is likely to be Saturday, December 14, 2019 – or, possibly, Sunday, December 15, 2019. But the morning of December 13 might offer some meteors, too.

First week of legal cannabis sees $1.6 million in sales

The Detroit Free Press reports that in the first eight days of legal weed sales, $1.6 million of recreational marijuana was sold at the five currently licensed retail shops open around the state. Three of those shops either sold out or had limited supplies of cannabis products.
