CannaCon Midwest Detroit returns to the Motor City & Huntington Place this Friday, October 6 & Saturday, October 7, 2023. CannaCon first came to Detroit in 2018 and has held successful events every year but 2022.
The event is targeted to those who would like network with like-minded entrepreneurs building the cannabis industry. They try to be a one-stop shop, from cultivation supplies, the newest industry innovations, world class genetics, business and legal advice, retail displays, extraction technology, scientific and financial trends, marketing, branding, and lots more.

Conference Highlights
The seminars at CannaCon are always a highlight and it’s looking good for 2023 as well.
We’ll have a chance to hear from Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Association (CRA) Director Brian Hanna first thing on Friday (9:45am). He just passed his one year mark on September 15th and it will be interesting to hear his thoughts on a rather tumultuous year & also see how his candor stacks up to previous Director Andrew Brisbo. We will definitely try to make this one!
Friday afternoon (2:20pm) Primitiv Group Co-Founders Calvin Johnson & Rob Sims & former Detroit Lions players will talk about Growing your brand through innovation and education.
Tom Lavigne of Detroit-based Cannabis Counsel will be talking about Risks & Prospects to educate the audience on compliance, training and SOPs and the risks of non-compliance.
